Brown Bear Haus is a stunning mountain chalet style cabin located in the neighborhood of Upper Moonridge with direct access to the National Forest right out the back gate. Perfect for a friends or family getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, this cabin offers mountain and ski slope views that do not disappoint.
You can relax in the great room in front of the gas burning fireplace while watching the colorful fall leaves blow in the breeze or the snow gently fall in the winter through the lofty great room windows.
Top quality furnishings and vintage ski chalet decor bring the mountain atmosphere inside.
Brown Bear Haus provides comfortable accommodation for the whole family with three bedrooms plus a sleeper sofa in the gameroom. The spacious master bedroom on the upper level features a king bed and a gas fireplace to keep you warm on cold winter nights. Two bedrooms on the lower level allow for plenty of space to rest after a busy day of snowplay. One has a cozy queen bed, while the larger bedroom has a full-over-queen bunk bed and an additional queen bed. Every bedroom has a sliding patio door for access to the backyard.
You can enjoy home cooked meals from the fully equipped kitchen and gather around the inviting dining table to enjoy your meal. Everyone will feel included in the open concept great room. Board games and a Take a Book, Leave a Book Library are also available for use in your down time, or watch a movie or the game on the large smart TV.
The spacious game room is equipped with foosball, ping pong, shuffleboard, darts, and another large smart TV to enjoy with your friends and family. An electric fireplace adds ambiance and warmth to the space.
The fenced backyard provides added entertainment with direct access to the San Bernardino National Forest for hiking, snowshoeing, backcountry skiing, and snowplay. You can also have your morning coffee on the rustic wooden bench swing under the gazebo, an afternoon game of horseshoes, or an evening by the gas firepit. The expansive deck off the living area provides a gas grill and an outdoor dining set so you can enjoy your meals close to nature.
